Cozy Craftsman in Carmel-by-the-Sea
This new home was built in 2009 in Carmel-by-the-Sea on Monte Verde Street & 4th Avenue. The original home was demolished and in its place, we built a new 1,600 square foot home with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths complete with backyard fire pit. On the exterior, natural stone was used throughout the landscape to hide the many large concrete retaining walls. Paired with cedar shake siding, copper gutters & downspouts, stained wood trim and sage green windows, this home is a natural beauty. On the interior, the final design has a refined rustic style with lots of natural elements throughout the home including rustic knotty alder shaker-style cabinets with oil-rubbed bronze hardware & fixtures, creamy quartz countertops, warm hardwood flooring, natural stone tile in the bathrooms and, exposed hand-hewn beams in many of the ceilings.
